FRIDAY, September 12
Ms. Warsaw gone. You will have a sub!
Current Events Day!
1. Watch Flocabulary
2. Group activity: In groups of 5, read your assigned section of the September 11 article, "Faces of 9/11: Where are they now?". After you have read, share what you learned with your group members. Click HERE for the article.
3. After the group activity, find one article on your iPad (US or World) that you think could be historically significant on a large scale. Then, in your notes answer the following questions:
What is the title of the article?
Where did you find it? (News source)
What is it about/when did it happen/where did it happen?
Why do you think this event could be historically significant (affect a large group of people over a long period of time)?
I will be checking your answers on Tuesday!

Welcome to US History! I update this website every day with what we do in class. I will post assignments, links, videos, etc. on this website. This is a valuable resource for you this year. If you are absent, you can simply look on the website to see what you missed and need to make up!
Today and tomorrow, you will focus on getting to know your fellow students (plus me, your teacher!). We hold many discussions in this class and it is vital that you know and feel comfortable with each other.
